Asking the World for What You Want
(And Getting It)
Smile on my face. Big time.
I’m driving my scooter to the beach on those gigantic roads.
I look around, it’s beautiful.
Friends near.
Good.

where I work from sometimes: Tanjung Aan Beach
It’s not about the place anyways.
I know it’s different if you’re going for vacation,
but it never is if you think about it.
Imagine you’ve seen it all.
(I didn’t lol)
Imagine, you don’t care where to go anymore.
Sounds cocky to say this after only a year of nomading.
I booked Chiang Mai for two months after Lombok not because I wanted to visit the city again.
Sure thing, amazing place, I loved it.
But I booked it because friends are there.
The exact same friends that gifted me an amazing experience in the same city a year ago.
Community.
I can’t repeat it often enough.
The last 7 days have shown me again that
you just need to ask the world for things
(and put effort into them)
and the world gives.
I remember, how a year ago I thought:
“I want to work on a bigger project. Something where I’m coordinating and thinking, not necessarily executing.”
Cool.
New inquiry next day.
“Can you do the marketing thing for me? Like, everything?”
Few days ago:
A friend of mine rejected my job offer.
She didn’t feel comfortable at the moment and prioritised her own, future stuff.
Next day, she gets the opportunity she always wanted.
A big one.
big big.
I told her just before my job offer:
ask the world for stuff and it will give.
She closed a door.
Another opened up immediately.
She followed her gut, did what she’s burning for.
it’s magic,
if you ask me.
“Im not demotivated about Nomad Nexus, but a bit pressured about applications and getting it booked. I need a small win now.”
Next day, an Instagram DM.
“Hey I would join the retreat, but just would be a day late, is that fine?”

Slow ferry to Bali
I went to Bali for 24h, sat in a co-working with my Nomad Nexus shirt on, to promote the retreat.
3.5h in, I start to pack my stuff to leave.
“Hey can I talk to you about this?” (points at my shirt)
Demand!
The accommodation is FANTASTIC
Two WiFi hotspots across the area, 18 Mbps avg.
exclusive dining area for us
big garden for activities like yoga
mega friendly staff
super clean rooms
working space inside, outside and in the dining area
two amazing nomad cafes 5 and 200 meters away (WALKING DISTANCE!)
honestly, being aware of asian quality, I was surprised.
It looked good when I booked it - and it looks even better in real life.
Satisfied and excited!
A couple that applied were curious about the working situation, so I created a whole new landing page section for that (quite important for nomads, isn’t it?)
in short:
• Private terraces: Each room comes with its own terrace, a table, and couch for a private workspace.
• Exclusive dining area: A dedicated space just for us, with tables and couches for both breakfast and work.
• Nearby cafés: Granita and Nohi, popular digital nomad spots, just 5-200 meters away for a change of scenery.
• Dream Cowork: 1.6 km away, a full coworking space with meeting rooms, a pool, and high-speed WiFi for more focused work.
nice.
Now, need to find a yoga teacher.
Answer to this email, I WILL READ IT!

Enjoy life.
Cheers!
